Privacy policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Below you’ll find out which data is generated when you visit evaluno.ch, what we use it for and who it is passed on to.

Controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data on evaluno.ch is:

Argus Consulting GmbH

Marktgasse 61, 3011 Bern

Email: info@evaluno.ch

You’ll find further details about the operator in the legal notice.

What data we process

Technical connection data

When you access our website, technical data is automatically generated at our hosting provider: IP address, time of access, page accessed and details of your browser and device. This data is required for the secure operation and delivery of the website.

Contact form

If you use our contact form, we collect the details you enter: first name, last name, email address and your message. We use these exclusively to respond to your enquiry. The enquiry is delivered by email to info@evaluno.ch and additionally stored in our editorial system.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address with our delivery provider Resend (EU region) in order to deliver the newsletter to you. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in every issue; we then remove your address from the mailing list.

Settings in your browser

Your display preference (light or dark appearance) is stored locally in your browser. We also remember there whether you have subscribed to the newsletter or dismissed the corresponding prompt — so we don’t show you the same prompt repeatedly. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Analytics and advertising

We use services that analyse your use of the website and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. These services are loaded when the page is opened; we do not currently use a consent banner.

  • Google Analytics 4 (ID G-BMZZSVGLXP) — reach and usage measurement.
  • Google Ads (ID AW-17676482477) — measurement of advertising success.
  • Meta Pixel (ID 2036483750421702) — measurement of advertising success on Facebook and Instagram.

You can object to this data collection: via your browser settings, with the browser add-on for deactivating Google Analytics, or via the advertising settings of your Google or Meta account.

Recipients and processors

To operate the website, we use the following service providers, which process personal data on our behalf:

  • Vercel — hosting and delivery of the website (servers in the USA).
  • Vercel Postgres — database for content and form enquiries.
  • Vercel Blob — storage of images and files.
  • Resend — delivery of form notifications and the newsletter (EU region).
  • Google Tag Manager — loads the analytics and advertising services mentioned above and controls when they fire.
  • Google — analytics and advertising (see above).
  • Meta — advertising (see above).

Disclosure abroad

Our website is operated on servers in the USA; Google and Meta also process data outside Switzerland. Personal data may therefore reach countries whose level of data protection does not correspond to that of Switzerland. We base such disclosures on the contractual guarantees provided by the service providers.

Our comparisons and deal pages contain links to providers, for which we may receive a commission if you sign up. When you click on such a link, you are redirected to the respective provider, which is independently responsible for the data processing on its site. This has no influence on our editorial assessment or the order of the comparisons.

Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by law. We delete enquiries via the contact form as soon as they are no longer needed for processing. Your newsletter address remains stored until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Within the scope of applicable law, you have the right to information about the personal data we process about you, as well as to its correction or deletion. You can also object to the processing. To do so, contact info@evaluno.ch. To process your request, we need to verify your identity.

Changes

We may amend this privacy policy at any time, for example if the services we use change. The version published on this page applies.
